HOW WE WORK

  • 1. BOOKKEEPING

    With complicated and frequently changing accounting standards, changes in the law have to be constantly monitored.

    By entering into co-operation with TAXENBACH and commissioning ongoing bookkeeping in line with current regulatory requirements and, if necessary, support in the event of reconstruction of the accounts, our clients no longer have to keep up with regulatory changes but can focus on their day-to-day business operations.

    Our services:

    • Ongoing bookkeeping (including reconstruction of the accounts, if necessary);
    • Preparing or updating accounting policies in co-operation with the client;
    • Preparing reporting to state bodies (Central Statistical Office (GUS), National Bank of Poland (NBP));
    • Supporting during an audit or other inspection;
    • Ongoing accounting consultancy.

  • 2. FINANCIAL REPORTING

    Our services:

    • Preparing financial statements in compliance with Polish accounting principles or IFRS;
    • Drafting financial reporting for the purposes of management reporting, consolidation, etc.;
    • Supporting in identifying differences between the accounting principles applicable in Poland and those used for group reporting purposes;
    • Preparing financial statements on the basis of the accounts kept by the client, also taking into account the adjustment of the accounting principles used by the client to Polish accounting principles.

  • 3. PREPARATION OF TAX ACCOUNTS AND TAX RETURNS

    The Polish tax system imposes, in most cases, an obligation to pay taxes on a monthly basis.

    This requires the systematic calculation of tax liabilities and the preparation of multiple information and tax returns with different due dates for the tax authorities. TAXENBACH offers services related to preparing the required tax returns as well as support in dealing with the tax authorities, covering, among other things, tax inspection service.

    Our services:

    • Registering the entity as a taxpayer;
    • Updating identification requests (NIP, VAT-R) on an ongoing basis;
    • Preparing monthly advance payment calculations and annual corporate income tax returns;
    • Preparing VAT returns;
    • Preparing SAF-T (JPK) – structure of the VAT Purchase and Sales Register;
    • Preparing information for the purposes of INTRASTAT;
    • Calculating other tax liabilities and preparing tax returns required by the law, among others withholding tax, tax on civil-law transactions, property tax;
    • Contact with tax authorities, including ongoing correspondence and support during tax investigations and inspections.

  • 4. SUPERVISION OVER THE ACCOUNTS AND THE WORK OF THE CLIENT'S ACCOUNTING TEAM

    As part of our services, TAXENBACH may temporarily delegate a specialist to supervise the client’s accounting department.

    Our services:

    • Delegating a specialist to co-operate on an ongoing basis or in a specified scope;
    • Providing work in the remote form;
    • Implementing selected assignments within joint (TAXENBACH + client) project teams;
    • Providing accounting and tax supervision as part of the co-operation with the client’s accounting team.
